I teach Aquaponics and 7th and 8th grade science at Highlands Intermediate School in Pearl City, Hawaii. I’ve been teaching there for almost 14 years, now, and I can’t think of a better place to be!
I grew up in Michigan, and went to Michigan State University (wolverine tastes like chicken). Fresh out of college, I moved to Hawaii to teach. It’s been an amazing experience, and one that’s profoundly changed me.
I love to travel, and hope to visit every country in the world before I go on to the next great adventure. I don’t think I’ll succeed, but I’m definitely going to enjoy the journey!
Some of my other passions are reading, watching movies, hiking, swimming, and video games.
